Yesterday was rainy, but we still enjoyed a quiet visit in an elementary school room in the orphanage. We are counting down the days until we will be able to bring the children home. On Thursday, three of the four families will go to court for adoption. The fourth couple (Ray and Cari Lance from Virginia) are heading back to Kiev tonight for their second referral. They will be adopting two daughters from Uglegorsk in the near future.
Today was warmer and we played some ball outside and shared sunflower seeds. The older kids practiced their English and admired the electronic games and music. Some of the cutest little guys joined us later and begged to blow bubbles as usual. We will have to add some dish detergent so the bottles last for a couple more weeks!
Please pray for many others who are deciding about hosting or adopting orphans. There are seventeen children from Uglegorsk available for hosting for around three weeks this December. Two days before those smiles of yours gets even bigger. I'd say that day was as fantastic as any birth day we had. What a HUGE THRILL!!!
