Our first stop in Kyiv was to our 3 bedroom apartment we are sharing with David & Ingrid Semans. We stayed only long enough to drop off our luggage, the we were on our way to the US Embassy to apply for Masha's visa. When we were finished at the Embassy we had to take her for a doctors appointment. We went with her for her appointment and the doctor informed us of her condition and her vaccinations. So now we only need to pick up our visa tomorrow and we are ready to come home.
We will be leaving Kyiv on Friday morning and arrive in Rochester Friday night. We are happy to finally be at the end of of this journey and have Maria (Masha) Faithlynn Grizenko as a permanent part of our family and lives.
Saying goodbye to Viktor for last time. |
Sorry about the bus ride. Sounds like Mexico! We didnt even have tickets. Tanya just went up to the lady at the train, told her she needed 4 beds in first class, we waited for a while then were on the train. Certainly some money was passed but we had a luxurious ride both ways. Guess Anya doesn't know how to pull the ropes yet. Anyway, you're there and alive. What stories you'll have for your children and grandchildren. Loving you and can't wait to see you.
ReplyDeleteI agree - uncomfortable 11 hours - but great stuff for telling stories a few months from now! :) We love her name - Maria Faithlynn Grizenko - how pretty - who picked it? How did you decide? Love, the Spinks
