Another day with the children

We spent some time outside today with Masha and the other children.  It looks like our nice weather will soon be coming to an end though.  David, Jack, Ray, Viktor and I played soccer with some of the boys today.  We had a good time.  Viktor spent most of the day taking pictures of the children who are going to be available to be hosted in December.  We will be posting these as soon as we receive them.  There are 17 children in all.  Please pray that all 17 will get hosted.  Please also pray for our children (and us)...we miss them and miss watching them play soccer and being there when they need us.

  1. oh, thank you to Anya!! If I were there, I'd give her a hug - I just knew that google translate wasn't very great. lol

Misha looks older than he did just two months ago; that's 12 for you! And it looks like he has on his Mr. Incredible shirt. Cutie!

  2. Great pictures today. To anyone interested, Zheyna, the blonde, is a super nice boy. We spent lots of time with him last year. He was one of our choices for adoption but he isn't as good friends with Sergei as Vova is. Both Craig and I thought he had spunk, curiosity, humor, talent, etc. He had lots of hugs and stories for us every day. I think he's a gem.

Been praying for you guys every day. The wait is long and dull at times. I was thinking though that with our other children, whether adopted or birthed, the waiting time is long, sometimes dull and we just want it to be over. Thank the Lord it will soon be and after that 10 days plus 4 more days, you're home with a babe in your arms. It's so worth the work and wait. If it was all easy we wouldn't need the Lord.

Loving you all and all the children at home and abroad so much.

  4. The two boys are the ones Melissa has been praying for all year. The older is Ilya the younger is Svachik. Little Svachik is the one that reminds me of Cody.
