Another Beautiful Day

Yesterday a fourth couple arrived at Uglegorsk to adopt Inna(a 15 yr old) and to choose a second girl(younger than 15), so today, because our group is so big, we were moved to a larger room to spend time with the children.  I was able to get a weak connection with our 3G internet card so we could Skype our children with Masha.  I was nice for the kids to see each other again and Masha had a big smile on her face.  We had problems with the connection though so it was a short chat.
We brought some jugs of bubbles so we went outside to do that because the weather is really nice here now.  I'm attaching a video Masha took while we were outside.  It gives an glimpse of the outside of the orphanage and the playground and a bunch of the orphans are in it.  When we are at the orphanage with Masha and the other children time flies by, but the wait for those 3 hours is long and we wish we could just take home with us now and be with all our children.  God has been using our time here to open the hearts of others towards adoption, so that makes our time here worth it.

  1. Super. Love those pictures. We;re praying for Oksana. Talked to Karol Saner last night about her. Teenagers are worth the risk to bring home. Once they're out of the system at 16, the poor kids are on their own - FOREVER. Let's keep advocating for them all.

  2. Adding these names to our prayer lists. Not sure how the adoption process would work from Ukraine to Chile. Praying for God to open hearts of families to adopt these precious children. Love, Kim and all
